Artist statement
Ash Alldread is a multidisciplinary artist working in, sculpture, drawing, and digital photography. Ash draws from the complexity of his lived experiences, deciphering the entanglements of the human body. His research explores medical contexts and ontological perspectives through philosophical curiosity.
Cystic Fibrosis is part of Ash’s daily life. He seeks to unravel the complexity of his past, present and future experiences. These silent and aggressive experiences invoke trauma, decay, preservation, mortality and time.
